Shaft Sinking
Redpath Mining is recognized throughout the industry as a global leader in shaft sinking. Working in some of the most extreme conditions and remote locations on earth such as the jungles of South America, the Gobi Desert of Mongolia and the high Arctic, Redpath Mining has the experience and expertise to mobilize people and equipment to safely execute any shaft project.

From concept to commissioning, we combine our global competencies and skills with innovative techniques, regulatory knowledge, regional expertise and cultural sensitivity. All of which allows us to provide timely front-end engineering and design models, as well as selection and sourcing of hoisting facilities, to fast-track any shaft project. Mine Development
With the most modern and comprehensive contractor fleet in the industry, Redpath Mining provides a full complement of tunnelling and mine development services. After excavating hundreds of kilometers, we are highly recognized for successfully handling logistically challenging projects in remote locations and severe conditions, such as: the Arctic, high altitude regions, the Gobi desert and the Tropics.

The Redpath Mining fleet consists of more than 160 pieces of major underground mobile equipment, including: hydraulic jumbos, mechanized bolters, LHD’s up to 17 tonne, trucks up to 55 tonne and a full complement of mobile support equipment.

Contract Mining
From a specific scope of work to a complete turn-key mining operation, Redpath Mining has the knowledge, experience, people and equipment to build the entire surface infrastructure and underground mine as well as the ability to provide a full production mining service.

This has lead clients the world over to commission Redpath Mining to engineer and perform production drilling and blasting of their mineral deposits. These services extend to ore haulage, crushing and conveyance to surface for processing.

Raiseboring
From management consulting and operations personnel, to in-house engineering and service technicians, Redpath Mining offers full turn-key raiseboring contracting services. We design and manufacture the Redbore family of raise drills, complete with a full inventory of after-market spares.

Capable of handling a full-range of diameter and depth of openings, our raise drills are acclaimed for their unique power output and compact design.

Having amassed the industry’s largest raise mining equipment fleet, Redpath Mining innovative patented designs and concepts have been providing raise mining services and solutions for over 30 years. Underground Construction
Redpath Mining provides a world of experience in full-range underground mine construction and installation. Our seasoned professionals conceive, design, construct and commission installations for all project sizes and complexities.

Skilled in new infrastructure development, including the building of underground shop facilities and refuge stations, Redpath is also highly recognized for dewatering, rehabilitating, upgrading and re-commissioning mines that are re-entering production.

Redpath is also fully capable of building ore handling and conveyance systems consisting of chutes, grizzlies, conveyors, ore transfers, ore and waste bins, crushers and loading pockets.

Mechanical and electrical installations such as internal hoists, portable or permanent substations and air heating/cooling ventilation fan systems add to our complete range of underground construction abilities and services.
